We've spent the day enjoying the sunshine... and my nose is sunburned from sitting in the hot-tub.

And we're down to a single bottle of wine now, so may need to hit a supermarket tomorrow. Oops.

I am not joking people, she is a deaf, insane, memory impaired woman, who force fed my child jelly babies and gingerbread dinosaur biscuit! SURELY I should win something!?! I have had no alcohol and peeled ds on the ceiling and tucked him in for the night successfully*, ready for the Quakers "at home" tomorrow.

*Mind, I say successfully, I really mean he is STILL animatedly telling Noddy all about it, but at least he has stopped screaming!

Back from Costco. Making Nachos and cheese for tea. Yummers!

Have you ever shopped for a hot tub???? it's excruciatingly boring!

I wanna go to the Aging and Speech Communication International Interdisciplinary Conference in Indiana in October. HOW can I get my university to pay for it??????? it's 4 days and I think that ONE day will be extremely relevant - the rest wouldn't hurt though!

DH has gone to watch the last game of the season today . He is hopeful that he will be going to Wembley in a couple of weeks too. His team are winning. No doubt he will come home steaming drunk! cheers

BUSY day today - out to a kindergarten party today, then to the Softball team photos, then back for nap time and then out for afternoon tea with some friends.

I've got l-t-ex and his two kids here, so we've been to the park. I had to make a picnic for 8 ... but the kids had fun.

Now we're home and I'm catching up on here before I need to think about making dinner!

The two big girls are on the trampoline, A is on Guitar Hero on the Wii, J and J are on the xbox and M is tormenting the kitten.

LOL, I got DP to check out the conference, and even HE thinks it would be VERY RELEVANT, and NOT just a jolly (not that free transatlantic trips are ever a BAD thing lmao)

He is gonna help me write a proper proposal as to why it would be crucial to my eduicational advancement AND why they should pay for the whole thing!

(and yes, sympathy MUCH appreciated!)

Evening! I'm nominating myself for most frequent poster, and I'm on my holiers.You lot are just slack.

We've had a fab day, went to a lovely pub for lunch, then sat in a cute garden surrounded by cherry blossom, eating ice-cream in the sunshine. The lushes are drinking wine, and we're about to go for a dunk in the hot-tub.

Shall miss that tub when we go home tomorrow!

We went to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the friends meeting house in Stevenage. We also did a fairly arduous walk home from the station.

DH came home from footie pie eyed, fell asleep on the downstairs loo. The dog went in and woke him up (after me telling him too) and he then proceeded to be sick!!! I told him to clean it up and go to bed.

Now I am drinking HIS beer and catching up on Brothers and Sisters... Cool

Anyway, just got in from my very busy day. Had a fab day. Took M to a birthday party, took both girls to their softball photo day - more fridge magnets, YAY! - and then we went to see some Brit friends for tea.

Drinking vodka, cranberry and tonics (I'm sure that's got a better name) and chilling with my baby. Too much to catch up on...just a day away from my computer is a nightmare!
