AIBU to be cross with DH?

It's my birthday today, and so as my "present" I don't want to cook dinner. I don't want to plan it, shop for it, prepare it, cook it, serve it and I certainly don't want to clean up from it.

I even left the entire day blank in my weekly menu, to allow DH to plan whatsoever he wants to do. I don't care if he gets takeout, I don't care if he opens a tin of soup, I don't care WHAT he serves as long as he thinks about it and sorts it out himself.

So am I being unreasonable to be peeved that he has spent all week asking me what I want to eat, refuses to even THINK about what kinds of food I like and plan it himself, hasn't shopped or done anything - and it is dinner time in 45 minutes??

I am NOT getting up and making dinner, I'm NOT.

That's awful manhaviour. I'd be raging mad. I'm surprised you haven't lost the plot yet.

He's definitely being U, if you gave him all this warning and prep time. I suppose you could have given him more explicit instructions, but why on earth should you? He's not a child!

Ah well. We ended up ordering pizza, but I refused to clear up afterwards. He'd better improve next year lol!
