Is dunking gross? Empty Is dunking gross?

So - cup of tea and a gingernut in hand. Do you dunk, or is that the work of the devil? Can you dunk without losing half your biscuit in the cup? Can you drink the tea once it has been contaminated by biscuit gunk? Or are you shuddering in horror at the thought of all this?

No it is NOT gross. I love 'dippy biscuits' as I call them, bought specifically for dipping. I am too quick for the biccie to break most of the time, so that's not a huge issue. Dippy Biccies can be anything from shortbread to digestives. Most biscuits are Dippy Biccie candidates in this house. Bourbons are a top ranking Dippy Biccie, as are Hobnobs.

Dunking is disgusting. Pieces of biscuit break off and form a knobbled gunk on the side of the cup.

Urgh, yuck and no.

Dunkers should be shot.

Mmmmm. Dunking is good! I dunk biscuits! I don't even mind if my biscuit breaks off - although I invariably forget and end up with a surprise mouthful of biscuit goop!

However I draw the line at dunking bread and butter in my cup of tea like my dad does (now where's that vomit smiley?)

Dunking is a vile and disgusting habit. DP is teaching Jamie that is is a good thing, luckily, Jamie dips things into sauce and then won't eat the "wet" bit, so biscuit dunking is not going to be for him! phew!

Dunking is necessary! I love to dunk sandwich biscuits and then eat all the soft part and dunk again!

DD likes to dunk too- taught by her daddy not me!
