What do you think of them?

I absolutely loved them. I have loved all of Sophie Kinsella's books. But then, I love reading the back of the cornflake box.

do you know that she has a pseudonym too? Cake for any one who tells me who she is....can't give points...and it will only be a picture!hmm you can't be bothered now can you?


I have read all the Shopaholic books but in the end wanted to throttle Becky for being so bloody selfish (even though she couldn't help it) all me me me.

I thought Sophie Kinsella was the pseudonym? Shows what I know.

She also writes as Madeleine something. Twickenham?

Becky really gets on my nerves, she's just so self absorbed. I've still read them all, though and watched the movie. I want to marry Luke when I grow up.

Madeleine Wickham is her pseudonym. I have a couple of her books as well. They're very good too

And no, not historical at all. They're still chick-lit, but more sort of "grown up" if you know what I mean? More like Adele Parks type of writing. Still enjoyable though

I liked the Shopaholic books. I found Becky irritating to start with but I didn't mind her too much by the end!

I also like Johanna Edwards' books. She has great ditzy heroines in a similar vein but not so irritating! I'm not sure you can find her in the UK though.
