I think she was one of the 'first' to write chick lit and I like her. She is funny and deals with subjects well. The first books she wrote reflected her life and problems.

I don't like the compilations .

Im afraid I am a Closet Marian Keyes fan, I am not usually a fan of Chick Lit, however Marian is my Guilty secret, her books would be what I would describe as my Coffee time read, easy to read, easy to pick up again and are great when I want to read without taxing my brain.

If i had to pick A favourite it would be Watermelom

I have read most of her books and I loved her new one "this charming Man". I like the fact that the books are easy to read and it doesnt matter if I dont have time to read for weeks I can still pick the book up and know what has happened. Before I read This Charming man I hadnt read a book for over a year ( no time with the baby) since then I have read a few good books so it kinda kickstarted my reading again
