Re: Britain's Got Talent
Sundays finalists were:
Diversity
Sue Son
Faces Of Disco,
Darth Jackson
Diversity
Julia Naidenko
Nick Hell
Natalie Okri.
Results:
Diversity
Sue Son
Faces Of Disco,
Darth Jackson
Diversity
Julia Naidenko
Nick Hell
Natalie Okri.
Results:
- Spoiler:
- I'm over the moon that Diversity and Susan are going through.
Susan started really badly, IMO, but the song she chose is technically very difficult and she shone by the end of it.
So glad that Faces of Disco, Darth and Nick Hell went out, but I did like Sue, Julia and Natalie.

Can't watch it as no signal on TV and DH on way to the States so no man around to mend it.
My money is on Jamie and Flawless (who are rather pleasing on the eye!)

Monday's results:
- Spoiler:
- Flawless and Shaun Smith went through, hurrah!
I had no idea who Shaun was when I saw the line-up (he's the rather yummy young rugby player) but I'm glad those two are through.
Diversity and Flawless in the final, it's going to be great!

When is the final? Is it this weekend?
I have only seen one "episode" of this - not really my cup of tea if I'm honest, but one of those things that when I watch it, I'm totally hooked!! - and the one that I watched had Diversity on and I thought they were absolutely fantastic!!

Re: Britain's Got Talent
I like diversity I think they have a really good sense of humor, I won't watch it now untill the final.
Don't all shoot me but I hope susan boyle dosn't get through, her voice is nice but I'm sure there will be better singers than her on the night and IMO she will just not shine.

Re: Britain's Got Talent
Emma, these things aren't really my preferred viewing either, but like you I tend to get drawn in if I watch an episode. Eldest daughter likes this and X-factor, so they have become a "family viewing" thing rather than a "ooo must rush home to catch reality TV!".
I don't really want Susan to win either! I love Diversity and Flawless and think either of them would be great on the RVS. And I have no idea who else went through, lol, but I'm sure there will be other favourites not yet through who will give Susan a good competition.
Having said that, will go check and see if tonight's lineup is on ITV.com yet

Re: Britain's Got Talent
Tuesday's lineup - I have no idea who half of them are, and half of the ones I do recognise are rubbish. No idea why they even got through and not, eg, the kid on the drums.
Harmony - singers
Ben and Becky - dancers
MD Showgroup - Dance group
Shaheen Jafagholi - singer
Floral highnotes - singer and floral display
Kayode Oresanya - Human saxophone
The Barrow Boys - wheelbarrow dance act
Stavros Flatly - dancers

Re: Britain's Got Talent
OMG that was the worst semi final ever!!! why put harmony, the human saxaphone and the wheelbarrow guys through????
staveros was quite funny but for the queen? really? the 12 year old (shaheen) was good. not as good as the audition but still far superior to the rest.

Re: Britain's Got Talent
Result for Tuesday:
Any ideas who will be on Thurs/Fri?
- Spoiler:
- Shaheen and Stavros Flatley went through, from what I've read?
I have no idea why the florist and the human sax went through at all!!! And why there were so many "good" acts on Sunday rather than stagger them through the week....
Any ideas who will be on Thurs/Fri?

Semi Spoiler .... click for my opinion on the final!
Dee - You click the 'others' button on the format bar to choose 'spoiler'.
- Spoiler:
- I think I'd like Stavros or Diversity to win. I'm surprised we have so many singers and dancers, but out of that lot ... that's who I'd pick!

Thanks Hushy! Have fixed them all.

My wish to win would be:
- Spoiler:
- Diversity, Flawless, Shaun or Aiden. After last night I don't think Hollie would cope with the live RVS, and although Susan's voice is wonderful she isn't necessarily the BEST talent on tonight.

Re: Britain's Got Talent
OMG.... that was astounding! What fantastic acts, nearly all of them gave stellar performances and all would be wonderful in the RVS. I can't choose!
Did anyone have a favourite? Did you vote?

Re: Britain's Got Talent
I would have voted had I been there and I would have voted for Diversity and Julian Smith.
While Flawless were wonderful, with crisp choreography, clean lines and great timing, Diversity had all that plus great entertainment value!
I LOVED Julian Smith. Out of all the finalists, he had truly practised his art until he had achieved a very high level. I felt sorry for him in one way because there are buskers at the bottom of stairways across the country doing the same thing. Not so well, granted...makes me wonder though if anyone would buy his album. I think someone on another board likened his music to lift music, which is probably true, however much of a shame it is to say so. However, all three times he played, he managed to raise the hairs on my arms! That's a good thing!
I did still like Susan Boyle and I hope she has a career now, that it hasn't all be ruined for her by the media hype.
I have to agree that the third semi-final was pretty dire, but the other four were brilliant! I really think the majority of the acts this year (other than the obligatory train wreck act each night...why do they do that?) would have probably been able to grace the stage at the RVS without looking too much out of place!
Incidentally, every time he came on, the granddad from 2 Grand made me cry. He reminded me so strongly of my own grandad, who had the most lush voice. I think I might have voted for him just because of that!
