As Admin said on the features post the site is new and developing. I thought it might be an idea for a thread for general feedback on the site? just been chatting to some one about it and they had some ideas...

A new user I introduced said he liked the site but suggested that the posts since you last visit button needs to be bigger. When the site gets busier and there are lots of posts flying it might be difficult to see new ones and you would have to scroll and scroll....?

Check out the navigation bar at the top of the screen - I've added a large, easily found link to click for 'new' posts. Is that OK?

LOL! I wish we could pay! Maybe one day if we get very big and famous, lmao! Like that's going to happen!

I like the (almost)ad-free design, but if we ever got big enough it would be worth considering seeing about some ads!

Oh, and let him know I don't think feedback is at all 'cheeky' - I'm happy to continue improving the site as much as I can. Laughing

Points System: 5 points per profile message, 1 point per friend add, 1 point for each reply you post, 3 points for each topic you start. No negative points unless Katie, Liz or Marley remove some (which we wouldn't). Points can also be won in the Social Spot, or 'donated' by Admin.

Reputation: 2 points given every time someone clicks the +. No points are removed for a -

I've just changed the message editor to allow WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) which will help people 'see' their words becoming bold, underlined, differently coloured etc!

This stops all the messy html codes showing. If people prefer the html way, you can click the red A/A button on the far right of the editing options, and it'll revert to how it was originally.

I like the WYSIWYG setting, it's easier to *see* how your finished post will be, IMO.
