LOL! No! I think I only worked that out with Idol last year when I realised there was no way that we saw everyone in the stadiums! There's two standard auditions and out of the 15,000 that actually go into the auditions you get 50 good singers, 50 bad ones, 50 good bands and 50 bad ones, so that they have some entertainment value. So Cowell et al only see about 200 of the 15,000.

I'm hoping that my baby sister is NOT one of the bad ones! I think she's got a fabulous voice but that's me. Apparently, she sang 'Fever' for the audition, which I wasn't greatly enthused about, but they seemed to like it!

Do you think they have ticks and crosses against their names too so they know exactlt when to get a mouthful of water to splurt out for comedic value?

ETA I am sure she won't be one of the bad ones..

I presume so, only because it was SO obvious that they knew that little boy in BGT was going to be GREAT.

Although, that doesn't explain the whole Susan Boyle thing...though they could have seriously hammed that up too!

She might be one of the ones who they give all the build up to next year...You know the ones who come back becasue they didn't quite make it.
