Is this cheating?

Imagine you and a friend are playing a game. Your friend sees a way to get a personal best, but you would have to throw the game to let her attain it.

Would you?

Or would that be cheating?

(Or are you just a competitive meanie??)

I guess it depends really. If you knew that your opponent was trying to score big just to catch up with you and you deliberately stopped them from doing so then would that make you undeserving of your opponent's throwing of the game?

I'd rather have a personal best honestly earned.

Oh no. I can see why you wouldn't throw a game if you had any hope of winning. I'm thinking of a -hypothetical of course - situation where, say, person a has hundreds of points more then person b.

I wouldn't throw a game and I wouldn't want my opponenet to throw the game either
