Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white?
If dark, HOW dark?
Soft centres or hard?
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
Truffles, pralines or creme?
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
Given £10 spending money would you buy:
a. £10 worth of your favourite bar chocolate
b. A box of Thornton's Continental
c. A £10 pick and mix bag of Roses/Quality Street/Heroes/Celebrations
d. trot off to your local handmade chocolatiere's and buy however much £10 will get you
e. save it up till you go to Belgium and buy some decent stuff there?

Re: Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white?
Mostly, I would go for dark, but I miss Cadbury's so much that since I've been here, my tastes have changed!
If dark, HOW dark?
70% is the only way to go. Green and Black's Maya Gold is fo schniz!
Soft centres or hard?
Soft.
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
Fruit
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
If I have to have hard, nuts.
Truffles, pralines or creme?
Pralines *drools*
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
Either a Twirl or a bag of Malteasers. Possibly a bag of Minstrels...why did I ask this question???
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
If it's Bendick's Bitter Mints, heavenly manna! I will sit and eat half a box of After Eights with my dh too...
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
Cadbury's Fruit and Nut. If I'd asked me that question 5 years ago I would have said Galaxy, but Fruit and Nut is what I craved through my pg with G and I never fell out of it!

Re: Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white?
Milk.
If dark, HOW dark?
If I'm having dark, I go for Green & Black's which I think has 70% cocoa solids.
Soft centres or hard?
Soft! Strawberry or orange, preferably.
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
As above, but I also love caramel.
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
Toffee. I can't be bothered with nutty chocolate. Davie gets those ones.
Truffles, pralines or creme?
Mmm ... truffles.
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
It totally depends on my mood. I like loads of choccie bars! Erm, today it would probably be Fry's Mint Creme.
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
LOL - as above. It's fab! After Eights rock!
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
I have no idea. Maybe Thorntons?
Given £10 spending money would you buy:
a. £10 worth of your favourite bar chocolate
b. A box of Thornton's Continental
c. A £10 pick and mix bag of Roses/Quality Street (not so keen on the other two)
d. trot off to your local handmade chocolatiere's and buy however much £10 will get you

Re: Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white? Milk - BUT GOOD MILK - I would rather not eat chocolate than eat cadbury's
If dark, HOW dark? I reckon 60% has to be the best
Soft centres or hard? soft - truffle / praline
Caramel or fruit soft centres? Caramel
Nutty or toffee hard centres? Nutty
Truffles, pralines or creme? Truffles AND pralines! - depends how I feel
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...? Ooh, tough one - I wouldn't usually buy chocloate in a newsagents, if I did I'd probably be really dull and get a kitkat!
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna? Bendicks bitter mints and after eights are yummy, I can cope with a mint aero if I'm desperate, although it's a bit too sweet, but I don't like when they put the mint oil IN the GOOD chocolate
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why? Ummm, depends, I LOVE C'ote d'or milk, or montezumas is FABBY too
Given £10 spending money would you buy:
a. £10 worth of your favourite bar chocolate
b. A box of Thornton's Continental
c. A £10 pick and mix bag of Roses/Quality Street/Heroes/Celebrations
d. trot off to your local handmade chocolatiere's and buy however much £10 will get you
e. save it up till you go to Belgium and buy some decent stuff there?
d/e - right now I am missing c'ote d'or milk with hazelnut praline - so I'd wait from, well france I guess, OR, a trip to Brighton and montezumas, where I could get one small bag of venezuelan milking maid truffles and one small bag of the grande collection and have change for a small hot chocolate too! (oops, was that too much thought??)

Re: Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white?
Milk
If dark, HOW dark?
Dark enough that melting it and mixing it with evaporated milk to make crispie cakes doesn't kill it.
Soft centres or hard?
Hard. Soft centres are the work of the devil.
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
Caramel. See above.
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
Oh dear. BOTH.
Truffles, pralines or creme?
Ugh. Any because they'll get left in the cupboard anyway. Praline at a PUSH.
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
EVER made? A coconut boost! Just because I didn't notice when they stopped making them and would like to try one again.
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
Is yum. Mint aero... mmmm.
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
Galaxy. Is yum.

a). Except I'd buy one bar and spend the rest on a book.

Dark, milk or white?
White or Milk. Never dark.
Soft centres or hard?
Soft plz.
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
Caramel. HATE fruit centres in chocolate.
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
ooohhh.....both at once?
Truffles, pralines or creme?
Creme. No truffles.
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
Oh my god. Definitely something South African. Either a Milo slab, a Top Deck slab (milk chocolate base with white chocolate top-half) a Lunch Bar (like a Picnic, but better) or a smarties-in-white-chocolate bar. Yum.
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
I am eating a mint aero right now, and I have another 10 downstairs.
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
Galaxy, for pure luxurious tastiness.

Re: Chocolate...
Dark, milk or white?
Milk. Prefer Galaxy and have been known to eat Milka by the ton!! Cadbury is my last resort. I eat white under duress and dark when pregnant only - for iron you know!!
If dark, HOW dark?
Oooo I had a Green & Blacks White, Milk & Dark selection box and those dark chocs were actually pretty yum!
Soft centres or hard?
Don't really mind, although I do love a hard caramel.
Caramel or fruit soft centres?
Caramel
Nutty or toffee hard centres?
Toffee. Don't eat nuts.
Truffles, pralines or creme?
Truffles.
You're in a newsagents and you really fancy some choccie. They have EVERY bar ever made. You buy...?
Chomp!! (or Twix. Yum!)
Is mint chocolate a waste of chocolate or God's own heavenly manna?
I like it!! Mint Aero? Bendicks? After Eights? Oooo Mingles!! I can eat a box of Mingles in one go!
Which, in your opinion, is the ultimate milk chocolate and why?
I like Galaxy best... not sure why really. Very creamy. Love it when it's been in the fridge and then it really does melt in your mouth!
