Should we feel guilty?
If we ask our partners to help out with the children and house work?
Or as a SAHM (or SAHD) should we do it all and ask politly and if it's not to much trouble to bath the Children etc. or just tell the to get on with it?
WYO?

Tell them to get on with it, looking after the children all day is a full time job. The partner who works often thinks that you do nothing all day, but really that isn't the case, and unlike the working partner, you never get a break or go home at the end of the day. A bit of help with the house or the children is not too much to ask.
I alway say to my husband, I'm not a housewife, I look after the children during the day, I'm a stay at home Mum, and I apreciate help with the housework!

Mmmmm I don't really know where I stand on this one.
On one hand I tend to do everything during teh day when DH is at work (oh I do work from home 2 days a week) so he would never have to clean, wash or even cook tea. He works stupidly hard, even working at home most nights
However I do tend to hand the children over when he is in so I can have a bath or something.
At the end of the day its all give and take
