No - they are part of a "crossover" genre, inhabited by Tolkien, Rowling, Meyer and Pullman.

Definitely.

I think Brom is probably one of the more intriguing characters. I'd like to like Roran more, his charcter lends itself to being a "favourite" but I just don't.

Not without putting spoilers lol!
