Anything exciting or interesting? I've got a lamb and mushroom pudding in the slow cooker. It's an experiment - it's based on a steak and ale pudding recipe which I tried a few weeks ago and loved. Had some lamb in the freezer that needing using - so lamb it is! We're out of potatoes, so it'll have to be oven chips with it Smile

No idea. It's Saturday, we usually eat a meal out either lunch or dinner, so the other meal is usually light and based around crackers and cheese!

Not sure today, we had takeaway last night so it will probably be something out of the freezer or pasta and sauce. Lunch was sandwiches and cheese scones so tea is likely to be a bit more substantial but still quite a light one as we tend to eat later at the weekend.

Ohhh we're going out!! Friends invited us for a BBQ.

Normally it would be a "dirty" tea of southern chicken (tesco), wedges, Pizza and corn on the cob.

Let us know how the pudding turns out, I've never had one since my mum used to force feed us suet pud when we were children. I wonder if I should grow up and try one?

One day will you make me a steak and kidney suet pud? Mmmmm.

I have family here so did a huge lunch - roast chicken, jersey royals, a huge salad, coleslaw, baguettes etc followed by fresh raspberries, strawberries and watermelon. So dinner will be light and not cooked by me lol.
